Santas' helper is in the way

last sunday we went for a drive to jurien, the trip took 3hrs from here but we took a wrong turn,so it was quicker coming home.I took this photo on the way back,as you can see santa has asked for more help to deliver the presents to all the boys and girls in the outback, and little Elphie wasn't going to let his boss down,so he loaded up the hay sleigh and off he went to help Santa.

HOT !! HOT!! HOT!! HOT!!!!

what can I say,it was another scorcher last weekend.Saturday was 43 and sunday was 38 so the pool came in very handy.i came back from getting a few groceries and this is what I saw.Bob looks like he's dreaming of Bali and ordering another bintang.I put the bali music on for him so all that was missing was the incense.I bought this shade gazebo 8mths ago and we never got to ues it until now and boy was it handy.

'I will give you 10,000 rup for a 1 hr foot massage,
and could you bring me another beer please'.

xmas time

this is little Kristy Kate on Santas' knee ,I wonder what she asked him to bring her for xmas.I have set up my tree today and put the decorations on it, but it's not the same without the little one's.that's wh
at Xmas is ,seeing the joy on their faces on xmas morning(5am) all excited and wondering which present is theirs. It's not only about the presents(for the kids it is) but I think it's about family, love and friendship. And I love all my family and friends, and I will be thinking of my own fa
mily back home in victoria.
a big country howdy everyone.Well it's that time of the year...AGAIN,boy it comes around quick.I thought seeing how it's xmas time,i would put some santa photos on my blog for you to look at.This one is of Peter & Shelly and of course Santa. It was always an exciting time for the kids, going to visit santa and ask him to bring them their wishes on xmas day. sometimes they got what they asked for sometimes they didn't.But they still had a good time.

mums' birthday

this is mum on her 90th,she had a visit from my brother trevor,my sister raelene and of course me her little baby girl.
that's not bad,she had 18 kids (15 still living) and we were the only ones that helped her celebrate.sorry wes my other brother was there, but then again he lives there.as i said earlier mum will turn 91 at the end of the month,i won't be there this year to wish her a happy birthday (not unless i win lotto) but i will be there in spirit.

90 and still climbing

a big HELLOOOOO to all our family from wongan hillsThis photo is my mum pearl, and yes she is 90yrs young and she is still climbing up on chairs.i took this photo last year when we went over for her 90th birthday and we were amazed at what she does.
mum will turn 91 on the 29th december, she hasn't been well lately, but she keeps soldiering on,i think she is worried about my brother wes,he has lived at home all his life, never married and i think mum wants to stay forever to see that he is looked after. i said she didn't have to worry about him just herself, but you know what mothers are like.

one stormy sunday

hello to my friends(if i have any) and my family, last sunday was such a scorcher of a day,Bob and I were relaxing by the pool, have a few refreshments(one homebrew, one swim) when the weather started to come over stormy looking.these photos were taken that day,i tried to capture the storm on film.i was a bit slow with the bolt of lightning though,it frightened the bejeebies out of us that we nearly had a heart attack.

this was photo number1
you can see the rain in the distance, coming towards us.It's statring to get a little windy, but the rain is still on it's way.

this is photo number 2
the wind is getting stronger and the rain has come, a whole three drops(what a waste of clouds) but they got 20ml over yonder and you can see the rainbow

this is photo number 3
the photo doesn't give you the real strenghth of the wind but i can tell you it was so strong,we had to batten down the hatches.but it was all over in a matter of 5 mins Posted by Picasa
